Data stored on your device
Fly Lab stores the experiment, preferences and Ideas notes locally. Vitals and, when continuation is enabled, the biological state used for estimates are shared locally with the widget through Apple’s app-group storage. Ideas notes and the experiment log are excluded from that widget state.
Fly Lab does not implement an account system, behavioral advertising, analytics, tracking or a server upload for your experiment. The app’s privacy manifest declares no collected-data categories.
Optional Full Lab purchase
Full Lab is an optional one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. The app uses StoreKit to check purchase status and restore your unlock. We do not receive your payment-card details. Apple handles purchase information under its own privacy terms.
Optional in-app messages
When Fly Lab opens or returns to the foreground, it may request a small configuration file from flylabsim.com, at most once per hour. The file can enable a native announcement, a related App Store promotion or Apple’s review prompt. It contains no experiment data, notes, advertising identifier or account information, and Fly Lab does not report whether you viewed or acted on a message.
The app stores only local display counts and dates so a message can respect its frequency limit. The hosting provider may process ordinary connection and access-log information for delivery and security.
Reset, deletion and backups
Reset replaces the chamber but retains Ideas notes and may retain preferences. Clear the Ideas text fields to remove your notes. App deletion removes its local app container; Apple backups, restoration and diagnostics depend on your device settings.
Fly Lab does not implement its own cloud synchronization. Shared classroom devices should not contain personal or sensitive information in experiment notes.
Website analytics and hosting
The website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate visits and page use. Analytics storage is denied by default. If you allow analytics, Google may use first-party analytics cookies such as _ga to distinguish visits and sessions. Advertising storage, Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled by this site.
If you choose Only necessary, analytics storage remains denied. Google may still receive consent-status and cookieless measurement pings that can include the visited page and technical connection information. Your choice is stored locally in this browser and can be changed through Cookie choices in the footer.
The site is hosted by Simply.com A/S, which may process technical connection and access-log information such as IP address, time, requested page and browser information to deliver and secure the hosting service. Google and Simply.com apply their own privacy terms to the information they process.
Support, retention and your choices
If you email support, Erkan Erdogan, operating under the BKLVA brand, receives the address and information you choose to send so the request can be answered and the app can be maintained. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes or applicable legal obligations.
Contact support@flylabsim.com to request access, correction or deletion of support information you supplied, or to raise a privacy concern. You may also contact your competent data-protection authority. Fly Lab does not require student names or other identifying classroom information.
