Help with Fly Lab
Start here before resetting an experiment.
What is free, and what does Full Lab unlock?
Food, water, environment controls, colony development and 1-hour time advances are free. Full Lab is an optional one-time purchase for automatic feeding, simulated salt, ethanol and cleaner, and advances of 6 hours, to morning or to the next life stage. No subscription. Both versions share the three-charge time reserve; one advance returns every 20 real minutes. To restore Full Lab, choose Restore Purchases on its unlock screen using the original Apple Account.
The widget and app show different numbers.
Check that the app is showing Fly 01. The widget follows the founder and may show an older saved reading or timestamped estimate. iOS controls refresh timing. Both now use the same favorable-at-100 scale.
Time did not advance while I was away.
Enable Run while closed under Env and make sure the experiment is not manually paused. Time away is calculated at real-time speed when you return.
The original fly died, but others are moving.
The chamber can contain a colony. Choose an offspring with the fly selector to inspect it. The widget and Neural visualization still refer to the founder.
How do I remove my notes?
Clear the prediction and observation text fields under Ideas. Chamber reset keeps these notes. Avoid adding personal information on shared devices.
How do I leave the full-screen lab?
Tap the split-view icon just above the floating vitals to restore your previous split. Reset camera changes the view only; it does not reset the colony.
Reporting a problem
Open Data → Help & About and create a support summary. Include what happened, what you expected, and a screenshot without personal information. The summary includes app version, system version and language, not experiment data or Ideas notes. Nothing is sent automatically.
